Problem Areas: System SNMP Trap Log
The System SNMP Trap Log provides a history of SNMP traps that have occurred for all devices on the network during the time period displayed at the bottom of the report. If the SNMP Trap Passive Monitor Listener is configured to listen for messages, any messages received are recorded in the SNMP Trap Log.

- . The date the SNMP trap was received by WhatsUp Gold
- . The device or program that originated the trap.
- . The type of trap that was received.
- . The vital data (such as the trap name, the IP address that the trap came from, date of the trap, etc.) that is passed within a packet or other transmission unit. Move your mouse over the entry to see more of the payload. The data is limited to the first 100 bytes in the payload. To view the full payload, click the payload entry to launch the Payload Viewer.
To configure this report
Use the date/time picker at the top of the report to select a date range. The date and time format for the date on this report matches the format specified in .
Navigation
You can change the report you are viewing by selecting one from the pull-down menu.
Printing
You can print a fully formatted report through your browser by clicking the print icon in the browser's toolbar, or selecting from the browser's menu.

Click this icon to export a report. This function only works when JavaScript is enabled on your browser. The report can be exported to text or to Microsoft Excel.

Favorites

Click this icon to add the current report to your Favorites list. These reports can be accessed quickly through the Favorites folder of the Web Interface Go Menu.
